GREAT, GRAND AND GLORIOUS RISING

With the dawning of each new day comes POSSIBILITY. What can be accomplished in this new day? What have you dreamed of for today? This may be the day that you are starting your long awaited vacation. You may have family coming from out of town. You may even be starting a new job. The possibilities are endless right? Maybe not. You may be feeling as if this is another day to do the same things that you did yesterday. You may be in a place in your life where each day looks and feels like the last three days, three weeks, or three months. I often tell my clients to change the way they look at things and what they are looking at will change. So, let’s look differently at your day. Here we go…

Start with a plan or intention for the day. Even if you can’t have the entire day to do what you wish to do, take a moment or a segment of time for instance noon to four, take the afternoon off from your job, or hire a babysitter for an hour or two. Maybe take a long lunch and have lunch with a friend. This could look like meeting at a restaurant, having a sandwich in the park or even going to your friend’s workplace and eating with them (hey, at least it’s not your own desk you’re eating at…lol).

Look at your calendar for the coming months and strategically plan to take random days off. Hint, hint…it can also be a weekend! Give yourself permission to schedule some “get yourself together” days. I know you’re thinking “but what if I plan a day and something comes up?” Well, I’m glad you asked…if you can’t reschedule then go back to the calendar and pick another day. But, before you say you can’t reschedule, take a moment and be honest with yourself! A lot of times we convince ourselves that whatever comes up is dire. LIES! Can it be rescheduled? If it can, then honor yourself by rescheduling and you will immediately feel a sense of power and control over your days.

Practice makes perfect so keep awarding yourself with your own time. You will start to feel stronger and less stressed. You will have something to look forward to and looking forward breeds creativity. Before you know it, you will have created a space in your life for YOU and every day will be a Great, Grand and Glorious Rising!

I love ya,

Coach Vernissa

Hi Kris, thanks for the comment. You absolutely have to practice making time for yourself. You are the most important person in your life. You may think that your kids are more important but if you don't take time for yourself how well can you care for your family? Practice, practice, practice... look, that's 3 months right there...lol. Grace and ease does the trick. Take a day here and there. I love ya! Coach Vernissa

Hi! I'm a Coach, I know things...lol. Seriously, we ALL needed to hear this. The pandemic kept us home but that doesn't mean that we took time for ourselves... it means we stayed home. Take this to heart and when you schedule your day let me know so we can catch up...😉 I love ya, Coach Vernissa

Thank you for reminding me that it's ok to give myself permission to change the things in my life that doesn't fit any more. Starting now, I'm going to focus on being the person GOD created me to be. You're amazing, thanks for caring!
